A new ICAV Business Breakfast will take place on September the 30th in Valencia. The title of the session is “International arrest warrants, political crimes and human rights: exceptions to extradition” . It will address current legal issues that prevent the execution of international arrest warrants, and extradition requests based on political motives and human rights violations. The presentation will be given by Ms Arantxa Geijo Giménez, managing partner of Geijo & Associates.
This is an in-person session that will take place in the auditorium of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Valencia (ICAV), in Plaza de Tetuán, 16, (Valencia). The aim of the talk is to explain the legal regime and the latest jurisprudential resolutions on international arrest warrants, and their possible exceptions.

The fee to attend is 15 euros for ICAV Members, retired professionals with more than 20 years of professional practice accredited by the ICAV, ICAV associates or students of the UV law master’s degree from the CEU-UCH and the UCV. The price will be 20 euros for the rest of the professionals.
